In Focus: Wild Skies

This is why I started taking pictures in the first place. There are colours in the sky that simply refuse to be reproduced. That blue. The impossible gradients. The few minutes when everything changes and the light does something you know won’t happen quite the same way again. I’ve driven ridiculous distances chasing skies like these, and would happily drive to the end of the world for the right one. Sunsets, storms, clouds, colour and those fleeting moments when looking up is all the justification a photograph needs. And, as it turns out, they look pretty damn good on a wall.
