Amber
Like her sister, Karlee – Amber was made for the camera. Red hair, freckles, and a look that could move from soft and understated to completely badass without much warning. This was firmly in my Terry Richardson-influenced period: direct flash, minimal fuss, and an interest in stripping away anything that didn’t need to be there. The photographs move between quiet and confrontational, polished and raw. Sometimes the entire shoot is simply about the person in front of the lens. Amber gave me plenty to work with.
